DPS: Direct Support Professional

SSA: Service and Support Administrator
Service and Support Administrators coordinate services for people receiving services through the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
BSP: Behavior Support Plan
A Behavior Support Plan is used to support a person when their team believes a restrictive measure is needed. More
OISP: Ohio Individual Service Plan
The Ohio Individual Service Plan (OhioISP) is a single assessment and plan used with all people who receive developmental disability services. Before the OISP, each county created ISPs in a format of their choice. The OISP is a uniform plan used across all counties. More
ADS: Adult Day Support
People may choose and attend the Adult Day Support service of their choice. Many options and program types are available. A services and Support Administrator can provide a list of places providing this service.
